Areas of Specialisation

Born in Aberdare, Mid Glamorgan, Greg has been involved in substantial Criminal cases in South Wales over many years. Since joining Chambers in 2003, he has been involved in many cases in and around London. He is very popular with solicitors and clients due to his good humour and charm which has resulted in him being instructed in a major terrorist case (21/7) which was tried at the Central Criminal Court in early 2008. Greg also maintains an up to date knowledge of Licensing Law, an area of law he specialised in as a junior.

Greg's client care is absolute in the conduct and presentation of any case, he has a particular eye for detail and is a very useful advocate to have with a difficult client or opponent.

Some of the many cases of Interest include:

  • R v Donna Clarke and Others (Murder)
  • R v Sir & Others (Murder)
  • R v Griffithes & Wildy (Explosives)
  • R v Salter (Murder)
  • R V Rees-Jones & Others (Largest ever fraud in Wales)
  • R v Girma & Others (July 21st underground bombing case - no retrial ordered)

When not in court, Greg spends as much time as possible with his wife and family in South Wales, and when ever possible watching his beloved Wales at rugby.
