R v Sharon Ahwiereng-Obeng – (2010 Cambridge Crown Court). Mortgage fraud trial. Crown not to proceed further with case after hung jury.
R v Orme – (2010 Guildford Crown Court) Sexual assaults against five young girls. Acquittals on all counts.
R v Ali (2010 Kingston Crown Court) Series of armed robberies.
R v Akidi (2009 Croydon Crown Court) Leading junior in two month fraud trial. Akidi acquitted.
R v Kanmi (2009 Preston Crown Court) Led junior in VHCC Terrorism.
R v Messett (2008 Isleworth Crown Court) Three-handed Heathrow airport fraud trial. Messett acquitted.
R v Shaikh (2008 Isleworth Crown Court) Fraud trial. Defendant accused of money laundering in the US and UK involving high value CISCO equipment. Acquitted on all counts.
R v Turner (2008 Isleworth Crown Court) Date rape trial. Acquitted.
R v Allen (2008 Blackfriars Crown Court) Stabbing on a bus. Acquitted.
R v Aslam (Snaresbrook Crown Court) Defendant an academic who pleaded guilty to widespread fraud. Appeal regarding confiscation reported with lengthy commentary in Criminal Law Review.
R v Preedy (Southwark Crown Court) optician accused of long-running fraud of National Health Service and carrying out work unqualified to do. Pleaded guilty after favourable Goodyear indication.
