An impressive senior junior, Adam has extensive experience at all levels of the criminal courts, including the House of Lords. He also offers particular expertise in judicial reviews. Career highlights include R v Bow Street Magistrates' Court, which tested the validity of defective indictments, and Fehily, McAdden & Clarke v Governor of Wandsworth Prison – a leading judgement on time limits in section 51 cases.
Adam is a specialist in cases involving disclosure of foreign evidence – conducted cases in the US District Court in Palm Beach, US Court of Appeals 11th Circuit and US Supreme Court as well as in Australia, Norway, Belgium and Germany.

A seasoned fraud and financial crime specialist, Adam’s recent cases include R v Buckland & others, where he successfully defended in a £2 billion Customs & Excise diversion fraud, R v D’Arcy & others, the “Millennium Dome” fraud, and R v Vent & others, a global internet piracy case. Adam’s advice is also much sought after in cases involving the disclosure of foreign evidence, and he has appeared before a range of courts across the US, Australia and Europe.
