Sir Desmond de Silva QC and Nick James appeared for Mr Grant, one of two men accused of a gang related execution on the Broadwater Farm Estate back in May 2010.  The victim was shot twice on his doorstep in broad daylight.  The second bullet was aimed to inflict maximum suffering and was considered to be a sadistic punishment shot.  Mr Grant and his co-defendant were acquitted by the Jury following a 3 week trial involving anonymous witnesses and cell-site expert evidence.
