On 21st December 2009 at the Old Bailey, Tuam Pham alleged to have been one of a gang of six major Vietnamese cannabis dealers in the UK, was the only one acquitted of murder and manslaughter in a case in which the Crown alleged that a member of the gang who had lost a valuable consignment of drugs was kidnapped, tortured and then murdered. He was represented by Sir Desmond de Silva QC and Manoj Rupasinghe (of Lloyds PR Solicitors).
