R v McLean (Snaresbrook Crown Court) May 2010

A 41 year old man of previous good character was acquitted of all 5 charges including 2 Counts of Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm with Intent to cause fear. The defendant was alleged to have tried to shoot the complainant twice at point blank range, before getting into his car and deliberately running him over.  The Jury reached unanimous Not Guilty verdicts following a 2 week trial in which Nick James acted for the Defendant.
