The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and its subsidiary regulations impose responsibilities on both employer and employees for the health and safety of persons at work and those who may be affected by such work.
Argent Chambers (“Chambers”) based at 5 Bell Yard, London WC2A 2JR recognises that the health and safety of all persons entering into its premises or affected by its activities is of the utmost importance.
Chambers also recognises the responsibility of each member of staff and the part that they have to play in co-operating with Chambers in order to achieve a safe working environment.
Chambers will provide the information, training and resources needed for the purpose of creating a safe working environment and safe system of work and put into place arrangements and procedures to ensure that this is achieved.
